Womaniya!

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me- YES, I AM A WOMAN!

After watching the 2 hours uninterrupted episode of 'Satya Meva Jayate', I have an energetic soul shouting from within to notify the world what it is to be a WOMAN. The shattering stories, the fatal facts and the shameful survival of those poor souls give nothing but rage, fear and distress. This cold-hearted society instead of lending a helping hand offers disrespect, humiliation and baggage full of ridiculous taunts.

A child when enters the age of comprehending surroundings, is taught to respect the society and what she gets in return is sexual assault, mental abuse and wrecked road decorated ahead to lead an unworthy and disgraceful life. Wow! Respect!
Someone rightly expressed, "The unhappiest people in this world are those who care the most about what other people think." People, we need to grow up! My opinion on this is one should not give a damn about someone else's comments. Too many will call you, its on you who you want to answer!

Well, If I begin to list down the problems, I might just not add a full stop. It's always good to talk about an answer, a solid solution. This universe's vicious circle is a blame game. If I am hurt it is because of someone, something. Let's just say I was not ready to protect my well-being.
I admire and appreciate women who are self proclaimed. Why do you need someone to shoulder your shoulder? You, woman out there are gifted with the ability to bear all odds; why not unwrap the gift and utilize it.

My idea behind sharing this message with all the WOW women is to not have power over men, but over themselves. Grab all the means which help you safeguard yourself, look out for roads which allow you to enjoy a non-bumpy ride, develop skills which help you lead a lavish, lump sum life. Don't go out there howling about your capabilities, prove it ! I am the best, forget the rest..I am a Woman! High 5! :)

The Indian Cinema!

No! I am not a critic by profession, just clarifying!
As soon as I stepped out of the cinema hall this evening I was so sure about dashing off my blog. 'The Indian Cinema' -that surprisingly abnormal way to entertain audiences.

I am not too much into watching movies, I only watch those which are highly talked about (I skipped Chennai Express though) and whose promos seem appealing. Movies create drama, action, suspense, thrill and humor in one's life. Some are full of brains and some absolutely empty-headed.
In these 2 days I encountered 2 such extremely observe flicks. A happy high Sunday on the 'Highway' and the mournful Monday with 'Shaadi Ke Side/Effects.'

After gazing the full of delight Randeep Hooda, just so petite Alia Bhatt and the musical genius A R Rahman who will not make way for Highway! The film takes you on a road trip! Randeep who was in his most anti-fashionable avatar, Alia so raw and unbleached with all the background score gave me goose bumps. The flamboyant acting skills, story line with perfectly stationed dialogues..oh my I still have the Highway hangover!

And then came 'Shaadi Ke Side/Effects.' When you have no plans to watch such vain and unproductive theater but your long lost crazy cousins find out ways to spend some more time together, I got no choice but to hit the box office. In the fully air conditioned hall I squeezed myself into cosy recliner on the grounds of hope of not falling asleep, stared at the big screen (Vidya Balan appeared bigger than the big screen). In the first half itself I had goose bumps (this time it was different). Like seriously? So predictable, such a claptrap and just so bizzare! I was tongue-tied.

I am unable to stomach movies having bad influence on people. The dreadful part was the newly wedded couple sharing the next seat, giggling on a few 'not so funny' moments and zapped with some. (How I know they were newly wedded, Lol The poor girl was decked up with all the possible signage of alliance, The Indian Bride) :p

Like they say, 'There is difference between ordinary and extraordinary, that little extra is The Indian Cinema. Some pleasantly connect to you while few others corrupt your coverage area! However, notwithstanding the true desiness at heart, Let the absurdity escalate, High 5 ;)

Mould It!

Mould it comes from an interesting talk with a sweet friend over a hot cup of tomato soup. The conversation was intense and made me think so deep!

We are accountable for how people treat us. If I allow you to treat me casually you are bound to take me for granted, If I allow you to respect me you have no other choice but to honor. Its exactly how you want yourself to be seen and tackled.

Many a times people just say things which are not to be voiced. However, they are not suppose to be blamed, it is because you were OK taking it.

We can totally mould an event, an action according to our suitability, liking and preference.
In my own view I am responsible for what I say, not what one understands and derives out of it and this is only possible when I am able to mould my circumstances.

Life moves forward on a track decided and moulded by you. Mould it and Bold it ! High 5 ;)

Forever YOUNG!

It is difficult to pen down the start of the topic. And see this is how I choose to do! ;)
Forever YOUNG is what comes to my mind right now. I always share a great rapport with people who are young at heart. I simply mean people who are lively, like to take situations easy, let go the bad, are entertaining, not pretentious and who always carry a pleasant smile along.

For me Being Young is Being Human. A young heart can do wonders, it allows you to think out of the box. This playful attitude finds and not just grabs opportunities. Life is full of challenges, stress, responsibilities, blah blah blah....So what? BRING IT ON!

If I speak on personal grounds, I love to laugh. I love to laugh in any given situation (Yes, I mean any). I have no control over it. But this is what makes me feel young, fresh and a go getter. Whoever said it was a real great thinker, "Laughter is the best medicine." I have escaped from the ugliest and the most awkward situations by laughing, Seriously it helps :D Its childlike and raw!

Everyone has to grow up, grow old. Why not grow young? It would be so amazing to watch people growing young at the age of 65. A healthy heart, the urge to fulfill their pending dreams, cheerful lifestyle, an optimistic existence and so much more. For an interesting lifestyle one must remain young- Be young, Grow young and Die young. High 5 :) !

Money, No honey!

Who does not want a BMW parked in his/her mansion? Who does not crave to wear a Gucci or Prada in high-end gatherings? Why will one not be delighted to carry multiple debit cards? Why will the world not be flattered to dive in the pool of money! Why not when this will definitely buy fame, name and probably a win-win game (which is indeed an important aspect of life). However, my point is..is this worth it?

What makes me write on this topic today is that annoying scenario where people consider 'money' the ultimate thing to survive. Its either money or a lot of money! We all know money is valuable but should it take a toll on emotions, relationships and moreover RESPECT?

Sometimes people in sheer greed forget that life is so much beyond money. My dad ( I can't express in words what my father is to me) once shared 'Good things happen to those who don't run after money.'
So true! Reality check- Money is not always as sweet as honey!

Being loved is bliss, sharing is caring, trust is must ...Don't let money take away cute smiles! It is a part of ones life, not The Life!
Take it easy! High 5 :

What We Think, We Become!

January 15th 2014 was one of the most inspirational days of my life. From today I plan to think BIG, believe BIG and do BIG.

I have always been a very motivational person, I get motivated instantly (which I believe is a good trait). This day brought in a lot of flavor to my usual thought process. It was one of those places which helped me to see beyond what I currently am and doing. (Though I love the fact what I am and doing, but there in no harm in thinking BIG).

If someone asks me what is my hobby- Its taking challenges! If you want to grow you must possess the ability to challenge the challenges. One's life must be meaningful. One's life must have some interesting content to share. Life without meaning it not a life worth living! There come numerous instances in life which leave an inspirational mark. Some take it seriously some apply 'No Marks' to these! LOL..
Life is all about excitement and zeal. Why waste it?

The journey of life gives you good and bad times, the former to cherish and the latter to learn. And the best revenge is massive success! You need negatives to develop, its just like photography. Life is short- Believe in it, Love it and Live it.

Today, I stand tall and say 'I don't regret the things I have done, because I think BIG! High 5!

Less Is More!

I did think of posting my thoughts on a regular basis but (there is always a 'but') my demanding job plus my lazy attitude did not allow me to fill in my little space.
Recently I have been using the statement 'Less is More' very often and that I truly believe in it. If given a thought, this little expression says so much.
There are times when little gestures, emotions, things simplify the most complicated situations and stories. I personally used to expect so much out of people, things-basically life. I got nothing out of it but 'Babaji Ka Thullu' (Yes I am a big fan of..you know who ;) ) Some odd day I heard someone saying blah blah blah.."Less is more" and it just got stuck in my mind, body and soul.
Less of expectations, less of thinking, less of holding grudges, less of make up, less of gossip gives more of happiness, more of healthy relations, more of a positive and unburdened attitude and more inner as well as outer beauty. You tend to be just yourself!
I really want to say less because this mind blowing statement in itself says so much.
All I can and want to conclude is 'Say less -Feel, believe and do more ! High 5 :)
